The Center for Legal Studies and Sustainable Development (CELESSUSDEV), Faculty of Law, Tadulako University exists to contribute to the need to integrate law in the national development process. In the National Long Term Development Plan (RPJPN) 2005-2025, legal development is directed at supporting sustainable economic growth, creating investment certainty, and dealing with problems of collusion, corruption and nepotism.
This study center aims to develop legal material, legal structures and public legal awareness. With the existence of this study center, it is hoped that a legal system that is stable and based on Pancasila and the 1945 Constitution can be created. Apart from that, this study center also plays a role in improving the quality and professionalism of legal institutions and law enforcement officers.
CLSDEV's main programs include research and publications: Conducting in-depth research, disseminating research results through scientific meetings in the form of seminars, symposia and conferences and publishing the results in scientific proceedings and journals.
